Qualitative Analysis of a Leslie-Gower Predator-Prey Model with Delay

Cosme Duque, Zoraida Sivoli

In this paper a Leslie-Gower predator-prey model with distributed delay is proposed and analyzed. We give necessary and sufficient conditions in order the system be dissipative and permanent. We show that there exists a stable periodic orbit when the model has a non-trivial unstable and hyperbolic equilibrium. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the results.

Keywords: Leslie-Gower predator-prey model; competitive system; stable periodic orbit; delay.
